July has been a crazy busy month.
We’ve had so much going on, but it’s been a good kind of busy.
For the past week, we’ve had three of my favorite twelve-year-olds visiting from Georgia.
It’s been wonderful hearing the laughter from little voices filling my home.
The week before last, we were at one of my favorite places on earth: Camp Fairview in Athens, Tennessee.
We had been praying for God to do a great work in the hearts and lives of the young people who would be there, as He had done so many times before…back when I fell into the category of the “young people.”
This was my first time going back as an adult, and I was so, so excited! (Seriously, I was beside myself!!)
God did not disappoint.
The services were so good, culminating in the service Thursday night.
It was one of those times when there aren’t words to explain it to someone who wasn’t there.
God did such a great and deep work; it’s impossible to describe.
I’m just thankful I was there to experience it.
Camp is always an amazing time when God meets with us, we laugh a lot, we have so much fun, and we make memories to last a lifetime.
