Have you ever had a moment when you felt like you needed to do something, but you didn’t really want to? That’s pretty much how I felt about starting a blog. I thought, What could I possibly say that anyone would want to read? I’m not adventurous or exciting. I’m not eloquent. There’s certainly nothing special about me. Still I feel that same impression… Write.
I’ve put this idea off for a long time, but if nothing else, I want to tell you things The Lord has done and is doing in us and for us.

We live a simple life, my husband and I. It’s a life many people might scoff at, but it’s the life we love.
We laugh a lot and have fun together. We are both extremely sarcastic and take each other well…usually. 🙂
We sometimes fuss, just like any other married couple.
We aren’t perfect…far from it, actually.
We pray together.
We’ve cried together.
Hand in hand, we weather our storms together.

Sometimes, things go exactly right, but more often than not, things don’t work out the way we had planned. Our troubles and trials may not be identical to yours, but we all have them. The thing that brings us through and that each of us can relate to is the faithfulness of God.

So, welcome to this snippet of our life. Come laugh with me, cry with me, and pray with me. Most of all, be encouraged with me that we serve a faithful God who is able to do exceeding abundantly above all we could ask or think! He hasn’t forgotten about us, but is working out His perfect will for our lives, so that at the end of the way, we’ll look like Him!
